What If I Continue to have Frequent Headaches?

There are patients who continue to have severe headaches, even with an excellent outpatient treatment plan, and even when lifestyle changes are made. In these instances, patients may be hospitalized for specialized intravenous therapy. This will often “break” a headache cycle when nothing else will, and allows the outpatient plan to begin working.

For those times when headaches are generally well-controlled, but for some reason you experience a headache that is refractory to treatment, we also offer an outpatient infusion center. Our infusion center will bridge the gap between inpatient and outpatient treatment. Many times, it allows a patient to avoid Emergency Department visits or inpatient hospitalization.
